Most
of all, I am anxious to let you know that I have gone through 37 pages of Treasure and I am overwhelmed already! Only a writer of
high intellect, great compassion, deep knowledge, and an intensely
inquisitive mind, can produce such an enjoyable and thrilling book.
I
have one objection only: this book should not be presented as a
children's or teenagers' reading. In my belief, it can relate to
and captivate old and young alike. The penmanship can inspire
many a writer: thorough and fast paced, and mainly does not linger on
any one subject more than necessary, as some low context writings, such
as the famed "Barrio Boy" by Ernesto Galarza.
I
may be biased, but I prefer High Context writings that leave room for
the readers' imagination, while preserving the flavor and the essence
of the subject matter --and that's what the author has achieved.
I have to run now to my daily activities, mainly to my lovely breaks with Treasure!
Thanks
for sharing, and may the "Treasure of the Haunted Hacienda" be enjoyed
by so many to see itself reprinted for many years to come!
